Enrollment
New members enter the Covenant through a structured enrollment process. The full ten-step path is documented in the Onboarding Guide. The summary below outlines the key stages:
- Application: Submit enrollment request with personal details
- Biometric Registration: Face enrollment through the Sentinel system
- Review: An Administrator (Tier 2+) reviews and approves or rejects the application
- Activation: Upon approval, the member is assigned Tier 0 (Beneficiary) status
- Progression: Standing is earned over time through contribution, participation, and demonstrated trustworthiness
Enrollment is not automatic. The Covenant reserves the right to accept or decline any application. Membership is a privilege of standing, not a right of payment.
Standing & Credits
Members earn standing through the Chronos Yield system:
- Labor Credits: Time contributed to Covenant operations (hours worked, services rendered)
- Yield Credits: Financial contributions, dues payments, and resource contributions
- Standing Score: A composite measure of a member's reliability, contribution, and good conduct
Standing affects tier progression, voting weight, and access to certain services. It can be gained through faithful service and lost through misconduct.
Obligations
Membership carries obligations:
- Good Faith: Act honestly and in the interest of the Covenant
- Compliance: Abide by the trust instrument, tribunal rulings, and officer directives
- Contribution: Participate meaningfully (dues, labor, or both)
- Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of internal operations and fellow members
- Accountability: Accept the consequences of misconduct as determined by the Tribunal
Failure to meet these obligations may result in standing reduction, suspension, or removal.
